Cannon Street Widening

Just in case you did not notice, the city of Orange bought a block of houses on Cannon Street (south of Santiago Canyon Rd.) and demolished them in order to widen Cannon Street, right next to Linda Vista Elementary School. They are also taking away open space on the western shoulder of Cannon Street (north of Santiago Canyon Road) which will impact Santiago Creek. Expect an increased volume of commuter traffic, higher speeds, less open space, and less space for pedestrians.
